About this activity
Itinerary

Day 1: Sacred Valley

Stop At: Chinchero, Chinchero, Cusco Region
Our first stop will be Chinchero a small village 45 minutes away from Cusco, Chinchero is home to the famous Peruvian weaving and also has a colorful market that offers some beautiful and original crafts. A beautiful adobe church sits on the plaza that can be visited daily. Chinchero is also believed to be the birthplace of the rainbow.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Moray, Maras 08655 Peru
This stepped, amphitheater-like pits are believed to have been used by the Incas to experiment with groundbreaking agricultural methods. Because of the different elevations, the temperatures between each layer of the pit can vary by several degrees. These distinct microclimates allow different types of vegetables and cereals to grow, which couldn’t otherwise survive in the harsh Andean environment.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Maras, Maras, Cusco Region
Salineras de Maras is located along the slopes of Qaqawiñay Mountain, at an elevation of 3,380 m in the Urubamba Valley, 46km outside of Cusco, Peru. This salt mine is a complex network of nearly 3,000 salt pans, shallow pools that are filled by a hyper saline underground spring. These salt pans are believed to have been developed in pre-Inca times (pre-1430 AD) and today are active hand-harvested by local families during the dry season, May through November. The naturally pink salt gets its beautiful hue from trace elements in the spring water, including calcium, magnesium, silicon, and potassium.
In the afternoon we will ride a train along the Urubamba River to the beautiful town of Aguas Calientes.
Duration: 1 hour

Meals included:
• Lunch
Accommodation included: Overnight in Aguas Calientes at a 3 or 4 stars Hotel

Day 2: Magical Machupicchu

Stop At: Aguas Calientes 08681, Peru
We make our way by bus to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu for our spiritual awakening. The Lost City of the Incas is an inspiring and beautiful sacred site, an architectural wonder, and a great testament to Incan Civilization. Once used primarily as an astronomical Observatory, Machu Picchu now attracts thousands of visitors each year to connect with the sacred energies of this special place. Because it sits within 3 corresponding high peaks of power which create an energy triangle, it is a perfect spot to sit and meditate, focus your intent, and grow your awareness.

During our time here we will visit the Temple of the Sun and Moon, the Temple of the Condor, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the spiritual center of the Intihuatana, or the Hitching Post of the Sun to connect with the upper and lower worlds and the elements of air, and fire. Enjoy a few moments for private reflection and exploration, before being guided into a heart-opening ceremony to connect with Pachamama and the universal energies that encompass us – a life changing experience! In the afternoon we board the return train to Cusco.
