Day 1:
Huaraz- Cashapampa village- Llamacorral
Camping We start at 7:30 a.m, drive for 3 hours until Cashapampa, which is the beginning point of the trek, then we will walk 9.2km from 2975 m to 3760 m. This day is very hot normally walking to the narrow valley of Santa Cruz, but you will be accompanied by many nice rocky mountains.
Day 2:
Llamacorral- Alpamayo basecamp- Taullipampa
Camping After breakfast at 7:00, we start walking at 7:45, after covering 14km of distance, we go up to 4250 m, which is the campsite. 2km before the campsite we will take the way to the Alpamayo base camp to see the famous mountain that reaches almost 6000m and more peaks, and to see Lake Arhuaycocha, after we come back and take an optional way to the campsite.
Day 3:
Taullipampa- Punta union pass- Huaripampa
Camping At the start of the day we will walk 4 km up to the Punta Union Pass at 4750m, and then we walk down 9km to 3720m. From the Pass we will have an amazing views of Valley Santa Cruz on one side and Valley Huaripampa on the other, with many mountains surrounding us.
Day 4:
Huaripampa- Vaqueria- Yanamachay
Camping We will walk down like 5km, until we reach the Huaripampa village, then go up to vaqueria and keep walking until the campsite 5 more km approx, it will takes 6- 7 h, the campsite is at 4300m. like every day we will see many different mountains around.
Day 5:
Yanamachay- Portachuelo Pass- Cebollapampa
Camping This day we climb until we reach Portachuelo Pass at 4768m. From the Pass you will have an amazing view of the most snow-covered mountains of the Cordillera Blanca range, and while coming 'face-to-face' with Huascaran, the highest mountain of Peru, and after we will head all the way down until the campsite 3900m.
Day 6:
Cebollapampa- Pisco Base Camp Camping After breakfast we ascend towards the Base Camp in a very steep way for 6 km. for about 3- 4 hours
Day 7:
Base Camp- Summit Pisco- Base Camp- Huaraz We will wake-up around 1:00 a.m and after a very light breakfast we start to walk by the moriane for approx 2 .5 hours then over the glacier by 4 hours we reach the summit around the sunrise. The morraine is a bit rocky but as soon we reach the glacier, the hike turns much lighter. The route offers amazing views of Huandoy Mountains, Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Chacraraju, Alpamayo, Arteson. Pisco Summit offers one of the best views in the entire Cordillera Blanca. After we return from the trek to Cebollapampa, we will be transferred back to Huaraz in a vehicle.
