DAY 1 - 5:00 am - 10:00 pm CUSCO | MOLLEPATA - CHALLACANCHA - SORAYPAMPA (LAKE HUMANTAY)
Hike from Challacancha to Soraypampa with very few tourists. We will stop at the Base of Humantay Mountain to enjoy the breathtaking Humantay Lake. Ponder your first views of the unfathomable Salkantay. Spend the night in our Sky Lodges with glass roof and watch the stars from your bed in our exclusive camp.

Lodging: Salkantay Sky Lodges with glass roof
DAY 2 - 5:30 am - 10:00 pm SORAYPAMPA | SALKANTAY PASS - WAYRACPUNKU - CHAULLAY
Hike through the switchbacks of the Salkantay route with the mountain peak towering in front of you. Around lunch time, you'll be standing in the middle of the Andes mountain range. In the afternoon, we make our way to an incredible forest up in the clouds and tropical jungle around Chaullay. This is the most challenging day but also the most rewarding!

Accommodation: Camping in Andean huts
DAY 3 - 6:00 am - 10:00 pm Chullay - Santa Teresa
We leave our camp early for an easy hike to enjoy some chill time, and appreciate the scenery and wildlife, including the sound of the river running in the valley below us. There are also waterfalls and streams where you can refresh your feet and cool off! We will finish in the beautiful hot springs of Santa Teresa.

Difficulty: Easy
Accommodation: Jungle Domes
DAY 4 - 6:00 am - 10:00 pm LUCMABAMBA | LLACTAPATA - HYDROELECTRIC - AGUAS CALIENTES
Today something particularly special happens, we travel along the Inca Trail. On this road, we will arrive at the impressive archaeological site of Llactapata just in front of its better known older brother, Machupicchu. You will meet some of the native people who live there and you will understand the daily life in the area.

Difficulty: moderate to challenging
Accommodation: Comfortable hotel
DAY 5 - 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
Your enthusiasm for our destination of Machu Picchu will increase as you start hiking early in the morning through the forest to reach the the ruins before most other tourists. You'll have plenty of time to explore this truly magnificent World Wonder as you enjoy the beautiful sunrise from this sacred place. You will learn about the mystical Machu Picchu in a 2 hour guided tour of the ruins.
