Itinerary

Day 1: Da Nang – Hue (-/L/D)

Stop At: Hai Van Pass, National Route 1A, Lang Co 530000 Vietnam
Head to Hue, along the North coast of Da Nang to the top of Hai Van Pass where bunkers remaining from the war can be explored
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Hue Imperial City (The Citadel), Hue Vietnam
Upon arrival in Hue, we will visit the Citadel, Hue’s most prime attraction containing the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor's Private Residence. Hue Citadel was built from 1804 to 1833 under the Nguyen’s Dynasty (the last feudalist kingdom in Vietnam). Inside the citadel, there are a lot of different construction works such as: Imperial City gates, Purple Forbidden City, Temples and places of worshipping, pavilions, gardens, etc. After spending time at the Citadel, we will have lunch before checking into a hotel

Stop At: Tomb of Khai Dinh, Thuy Bang Commune, Huong Thuy, 530000 Vietnam

Stop At: Dong Ba Market, Tran Hung Dao St., Hue Vietnam
go shopping at Dong Ba Riverside Market. Return to the hotel for the evening. Overnight in Hue.

Day 2: Hue – DMZ – Da Nang (B/L/-)

Stop At: Vinh Moc Tunnel, Vinh Th_ch, Dong Ha 520000 Vietnam
Start with an early morning pick-up from the hotel in Hue and drive along the coastal area to visit the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). DMZ is set in the rugged, jungle-shrouded mountains along the Vietnam - Laos border of South Vietnam. We will visit Vinh Moc Tunnels, which were used to shelter people from the intense bombings during the Vietnam War and Con Tien Firebase area. Today, the tunnels are a tourist attraction and can be visited on organised tours. Beside individual tours to the tunnels, they are regularly part of full-day trips, starting from Hue to explore the DMZ.

Visit Hien Luong Bridge and the Seventeenth Parallel - the former borderline between North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
