Our guide will pick up you at your hotel and we head to experience a taste of Da Nang at Cam Le Sesame Cake Village. Kho Me, the name of a cake, is combined and shaped and infused with sugar and sesame. You also can find another variation called Kho No (“sticky rice rather than sesame”) at the village. Here you will observe some processes of making this cake. After this village, we continue to head to Hoa Vang District, another traditional craft village named Cam Ne Mat Weaving Village. The village was founded around since the 15th century and they used to weave mats for kings of the Nguyen Dynasty in Hue. Next, we move to the ancient village named Tuy Loan. Here the other traditional craft village also famous for weaving mats and making rice paper. We take a ride around the village to see folks here making rice paper and weaving mats. After discovering the ancient and quiet atmosphere in the village, we stop at a coffee shop and take a rest. The last stop is the Quang Chau Orphanage, which is managed by a nun. Here, many homeless and parentless children are adopted and taken care by the nuns. We walking around the pagoda to see daily life of the orphans and take photos with them. This makes your journey become more meaningful.
