Stop At: Dragon Bridge, Nguyen Van Linh Phuoc Ninh, Son Tra, Da Nang 550000 Vietnam
Da Nang has several bridges but one of the most famous is the Cau Rong (Dragon Bridge)
Built in 3 years, (2009 - 2012), it was opened on March 29, 2013, date of the 38th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Da Nang. This structure was designed by the American group of architects Louis Berger.
The bridge is a reflection of Vietnamese beliefs and culture. In Asia, dragons bring rain, essential for agriculture, but they are also symbols of prosperity, the power of the nation, the universe, existence and growth
Number 6 is considered a lucky number in Vietnamese culture. The dragon is 666 meters long, 66 meters high and has 6 lanes for traffic.
At night, the bridge is lit by thousands of LEDs that change color every minute.
Every weekend, there is a show from 21h.
The dragon on the deck spits fire and water under changes of color.
We will have a quick stop on the bridge and you can capture some pictures of this magnificent Dragon before heading to our first shop on our foodtour.
