Stop At: Lady Buddha, Da Nang Vietnam

Linh Ung pagoda is the largest pagoda of scale and artistic architecture. It is so famous for the huge statue of Lady Buddha – 67m high.

Considered as the largest pagoda by its scale and artistic architecture in Danang city, Linh Ung pagoda with the highest statue of Lady Buddha ( actually Lady Bodhisattva) in Vietnam created a wonderful place where visitors can free their mind by enjoying boundless ocean, beautiful and lively coastal road.

Linh Ung – Bai But pagoda features perfect harmony between the modern and traditional architectures of Vietnamese pagodas, especially in the three-entrance gate, the main chamber and the ancestors’ house.

The local people here believed that the statue of Lady Buddha or Goddess of Mercy not only protect the fisherman but also offering them strength for facing storms and strong waves.

My Khe Beach is famous for its blue sky, smooth white sand, gentle slope, clear & warm water year round and beautiful areas surrounded by coconut trees. This recognition was given after an endless effort of the government and the Da Nang Lifesaving Association in keeping the beach clean, safety for visitors, free admission for tourists, great accommodations...etc. Moreover, My Khe beach was commended as one of 10 most popular beaches in Asia by The Sunday Herald Sun of Australia.

Stop At: Tien Hieu Marble Handicraft Sculptures, 634 Le Van Hien - Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang Vietnam

Apart from its great beaches and beautiful landscapes, Da Nang boasts the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, which is a typical and unique craft village to the south of the city. Situated right at the foot of the Marble Mountains to the southeast of Da Nang City, far about 20 km from Hoi An Old Town, this craft village has a proud history covering more than 200 years. The founder of the village was artisan Huynh Ba Quat from Thanh Hoa province. In the late 18th century, he and others from his hometown brought their families to live in this village. Initially, the number of local people working stone carving is quite modest. In 19th century, the stone carving village became a traditional professional of the villagers. Products of the village today become exports which own high artistic values.

Stop At: The Marble Mountains, Hoa Hai, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang 550000 Vietnam

The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble in Da Nang. It's also a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth, Marble Mountains exist in a coastal area that is renowned for stone-cutting and sculpture about 9km south of Da Nang. The caves within the mountains hold many secrets including bullet holes from when troops used to spy on the US soldiers relaxing on My Khe Beach below and buildings standing within the caves and grottoes. There are also Buddhist sanctuaries and places of worship dotted across the mountains which are a much-visited spiritual site. You can even see a special circular cave here. It leads to the summit, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views.

Stop At: Hoi An Ancient Town, Hoi An 560000 Vietnam

We continue discover Hoi An Ancien Town for a walking tour around this enchanting port town. Follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures and visit its numerous places of interest: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local fish market. Around the town we can see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you are interested.
