About this activity

Experience the beauty of Poznan with a private guide on a walking tour of the historic city center. Look inside the stunning Fara Church, learn about the Castle Cultural Center and much more.

Poznan is a medieval city which has one of the most beautiful town squares in Europe.

Your tour will start by walking through the city's historic wall before exploring museums, the town square of Poznan, the path once accessible only to powerful monarchs. Continuing along the way to the Town Hall, you will stroll through the narrow streets of this historical area until you reach Church of St. Stanislaus the Bishop and the Martyr (also known as “fara”), a precious pearl of the Polish Baroque, brimming with gilded ornaments and mouldings. There you will have the opportunity climb the tower to admire a gorgeous panorama of Poznan.

At the end we will go to the Castle Cultural Center, which one was constructed under the German rule in 1910 by Franz Schwechten for German Emperor William II.
