1-Day Old Town Tour in Lijiang

Welcome to Lijiang, Yunnan!

After breakfast your driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel (within Lijiang ancient town)
(if the car cannot enter the small streets of Lijiang ancient town we will arrange a meeting point.) 
You will first go to the Zhongyi morning market inside the old town of Lijiang. There you can find fresh products, copper items, livestock and of course lots of food stalls selling freshly steamed buns and other local goodies.
Your driver will then bring you to the Black Dragon Pool. There, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from afar then go to the Dongba Museum to explore Naxi minority culture. Afterwards you will head to Yuhu village, which is located in the southern valley with a full view of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Visit the museum dedicated to the life of Joseph Rock, an explorer and biologist who lived in the area in the early 20th century. You then have the opportunity to join a guided horse trek leading you along the mountain slopes.
The last stop will be Shuhe Ancient Town, a quiet old town along the ancient tea-horse road. At the end of the day, your driver will bring you back to Lijiang Ancient town, where this tour will end.
