Itinerary

A 10km hike on Cangshan Mountain in Dali, Yunnan province starting from a small farming village at 2000 metres above sea level. The hike takes us through terraced fields, tea plantations and along the edge of a dramatic river gorge to a beautiful alpine meadow at 2600 metres with hidden waterfalls and stunning views of Erhai Lake. We camp in the tranquil alpine meadow before heading back down the mountain the next morning to the village for our transfer back to Dali Old Town. We usually arrive back in Dali Old Town between 10 and 11am.
