About this activity
You will be picked up at 8am at your Dali hotel and transported to Erhai Lake to begin your full-day hiking excursion.

Erhai Lake, or "ear-shaped sea," is an alpine fault lake in Yunnan province, China. You will hike the lake shore including Erhai Lake Park and the Butterfly Springs on the Western bank. You may choose to visit Guanyin Ge, Jinsuo Island, Nanzhao Folklore Island or Xiao Putuo Island during your trek.

The lake is an important food source for the local people, who are known for their unique fishing method of using trained cormorants to catch fish and return them to fishmongers.

Next, you will enjoy lunch in the ancient Shuanglang fishing village before continuing your hike along Erhai Lake in the afternoon. Be ready to take pictures as you pass the Haichaohe Village and Machang Village.

Your final stop will be to visit the Zhoucheng Market before being transported back to your Dali hotel.
