Stop At: Dealey Plaza National Historic Landmark District, 500 Main St, Dallas, TX 75202-3521

Survey the landmarks associated with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Roam about the Grassy Knoll, recognize the 6th floor window of the building formerly known as the Texas Book Depository Building, consider the path and distance of the 3 bullets that hit the President and the Texas Governor and compare the findings of recent National Geographic documentaries that challenge the findings of the 1964 Warren Commission.

Follow Oswald's escape route through downtown Dallas to the boarding house in Oak Cliff where he spent week-day nights. Talk with the current occupant, based on availability, who knew Oswald at the age of 11 for her fascinating interpretations of the assassination. (Additional fee not included in tour price.)

Stop by the site where Oswald encountered Dallas Police Office Tippit who was shot and killed by Oswald as he attempted to escape Dallas. Photo opportunity.

Stop by the Texas Theatre where Oswald was captured (no access), the Old City Jail (no access) and the Dallas County Courthouse where Jack Ruby was tried, found guilty and incarcirated until his death in January 1967, For those with a keen interests in the events surrounding the assassination, book a meal in Jack Ruby's favorite restaurant and sit, when available, at "The Jack Ruby Booth".

Stop At: John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza, Main Street and Market Street, Dallas, TX 75202

View the Kennedy Memorial designed by Pritzker Prize Laureate Phillip Johnson that is symbolic of the President's tenure in office. Mr. Johnson, a personal friend of the President and First Lady, was selected as the architect by Mrs. Kennedy who also approved the design.

Stop At: The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, 411 Elm St, Dallas, TX 75202-3301

Visitors become a witness to history as the museum documents the tragedy with historic films, photographs, artifacts, conspiracy theories and government reports that followed. The self-guided tour takes about 1 hour. Advanced tickets, highly recommended, can be purchase online or with the assistance of Explore Dallas Tours. Our tour can be coordinated to end at the museum.
