Day 1: Dar es salam to Mikumi national park

Stop At: University of Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam Tanzania
Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

Morning pick up from your hotel, Airport or Ferry terminal and drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 hours drive from Dar es Salaam On arrival go for afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park with overnight at Mikumi National Park Tanapa Cottages inside the park on Full Board.

Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth – largest National Park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Within its 3230 sq. km its set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the south-east. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons zebras, leopards crocodiles and many more just to mention a few.

Day 2: mikumi to dar es salam

Stop At: University of Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam Tanzania
Early morning game drive in mikumi national park and drive back to your cottage for late breakfast, after breakfast drive back Dar es salaam. On arrival you will be dropped to the Hotel/Ferry terminal for last ferry to Zanzibar or Airport for your flight back home.
