About this activity
Day 1: Arrival Bagdogra- Darjeeling - As you land in Bagdodra airport between 08:00 AM to 12 PM, our driver will receive and transfer you to the booked hotel in Darjeeling. Relax and enjoy.overnight stay 

Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing - You will be picked early in the morning with first visit to ‘Tiger Hill’. It is a spot located at a significant height which renders it a mind-blowing view of worlds 3rd highest peak Kangchenjunga. You can also see the tip of Mt Everest if the sky is dashed clear. Then you will be taken to ‘Ghoom Monastery’ also called the Yiga Choeling Monastery. It is one of the oldest monasteries in Darjeeling and boasts interesting collection of manuscripts and images of Buddha deities and lamas. It also offers sweeping view of cascading mountain range, Maitreya Buddha and Batasia Loop – Darjeeling War Memorial.

Return to the hotel for breakfast. Continue the sightseeing and visit ‘Himalayan Mountaineering Institute’ (Thursday closed).The museum inside the institute displays collection of paintings, artifacts and literary works. Then visit ‘Zoological National Park’ (Thursday closed) and see Snow Leopard, Tibetan World, Red Panda, etc. The high altitude National Park is also home to some endangered species of Himalayas. Then you will be taken to ‘Tibetan Refugee Centre . Later, enjoy the evening sauntering on the frolic Mall Road.Sign off the day with a comfortable stay at hotel.

Day 3: Darjeeling- Gangtok - After having breakfast, leave for Gangtok in the comfort of air-conditioned car . Check-in at the hotel and spend a relaxing.overnight stay.

Day 4: Gangtok Sightseeing - Your Gangtok sightseeing tour will begin with first visit to one of the important monasteries of Sikkim ‘Rumtek Monastery’. It is situated at the top of the hill and offers a panoramic view of Gangtok. Then we will head towards the biggest stupa (Buddhist temple) of Sikkim ‘Do Drul Chorten’, it holds great religious importance. People from far off places visit the stupa to pay homage and seek blessings.

Visit ‘Namgyal Institute of Tibetology’ famous for dealing with research in field of Tibet culture and language. It features a museum displaying impressive collection of Tibetan artifacts, sculptures, and other structures. Then take a walk in ‘Government Institute of Cottage Industry’, the craftsman work here and invest their magical creativity in making outstanding handicrafts made of complete natural products. You can also buy it as a keepsake or souvenir.

Later, we will leave to witness a 200 years old monastery named ‘Enchey Monastery’ belonging to Nyingma order of Vajrayana Buddhism. after dropping you back at the hotel. overnight stay.

Day 5: Gangtok- Bagdogra Airport - Have breakfast and then you will be transferred to Bagdodra airport to continue your onward journey
