About this activity
Day 1 Kolkata or Delhi - Bagdogra – Darjeeling

After reaching Bagdogra airport collect your luggage from the belt and walk towards the exit of the airport and meet the executive who will be waiting for you with a board in which your name will be written. You will be escorted to your private vehicle and then will be taken to Darjeeling popularly known as ‘Queen of Hills’.

Day 2 Darjeeling

The day start early morning with the guided tour of Tiger Hills to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mountain Kanchenjunga. On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop War Memorial and also enjoy toy train ride (subject to operation). Return back to Darjeeling for breakfast thereafter continue to visit the landmarks of Darjeeling. Visit Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) and Tibetan Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday). 

Day 3 Darjeeling – Gangtok

Embark on your scenic drive to Gangtok, arrive and check in at hotel, rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the facilities.

Day 4 Gangtok

Start your sightseeing of this beautiful town. Visit Rumtek Monastery, the seat of His Holiness the Gyalwa Karmapa of the Kargyu sect of Buddhism. The monastery demonstrates the best of Tibetan architecture and is an almost replica of the original monastery in Tsurpu in Tibet. The monastery houses some of the rarest Buddhist religious art objects found in the world and is also a world renowned centre for Kargyu teachings. Next visit Namgayal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday) which has a rare collection of antiques of Tibetan/Buddhist artefacts, iconography, cloth paintings and statues. Continue your sightseeing further and visit 200 years old Enchey Monastery which is an important seat of the Nyingampa order. The visit of tour will conclude with the stop at Director of Handloom and Handicrafts (closed on Sunday) which promotes traditional art & craft of Sikkim. It houses hand - woven woolen carpets, with traditional motifs, blankets, shawls and exquisitely carved 'Choktse' or table and many other gift items.

Day 5 Gangtok – Bagdogra - Kolkata or Delhi

Drive to Bagdogra airport where your tour concludes. End your trip with some unforgettable memories as we bid adieu to you at the Bagdogra Airport.
