Itinerary
Day 1: Siliguri - Latpanchar drive; Post lunch birding in Latpanchar
Stop At: Latpanchar
After pickup from your location in Siliguri/Bagdogra, you will be driven to Latpanchar (50 km, 2 hrs).
After lunch, you will be driven to specific areas around Latpanchar where chances of sighting birds are good. Our birding guide will help you spot and identify the birds.
After sunset, return back to the homestay.
Duration: 4 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight at a homestay in Latpanchar. [Room with attached bath]
Day 2: Early morning birding in Mahananda Sanctuary; Post lunch birding in Latpanchar
Stop At: Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary, Darjeeling, Darjeeling District, West Bengal
Early morning, at around 6:00 am you will be driven from Latpanchar to Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary (5 km, 20 mins). You will be doing birding en-route.
On reaching the sanctuary, follow our guide on the hiking trails. You will be able to observe and photograph several species of Himalayan birds. Our guide will help you to spot and identify the birds.
Usually packed breakfast is provided. Otherwise, you will be served breakfast after returning back to the homestay in Latpanchar.

After lunch, our guide will take you for birding along the route connecting Latpanchar to Kalijhora.

Early morning, you will be driven to Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary where you will be doing bird-watching on foot. Follow our guide on different birding trails inside the sanctuary.
Breakfast will be served after returning back to the homestay.
After lunch, you will be dropped at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
