Day 1: Arrival Bagdogra- Darjeeling (93 Kms/ Approx. 3 Hrs)

You will be picked up by our driver between 08:00 am to 2 pm from Bagdodra Airport. Board the comfortable car and get transferred to the booked hotel. Check-in and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Wake up to a refreshing hilly morning and savour the delicious breakfast served by the hotel. Then get ready for the sightseeing with first visit to ‘Tiger Hill’. Climb an impressive height through few hair-pin bends which lead to a spot offering spellbinding view of world’s third highest peak, Kanchenjunga. If the sky is completely clear then you might also get a chance to see the tip of world’s highest peak Mt. Everest.

Visit one of the oldest existing monasteries in Darjeeling ‘Ghoom Monastery’ also called Yiga Choeling Monastery. It boasts a 4.6 metre tall statue of Maitreya Buddha. The high location renders bird’s-eye view of snowy mountains, Maitreya Buddha and Batasia Loop - Darjeeling War Memorial to Gorkha soldiers.

Take a break and rest for sometime in the hotel. Then get ready to continue the sightseeing and visit ‘Himalayan Mountaineering Institute’ established in 1954. It is one of the main tourist attractions and remains closed on Thursdays. The institute is set up with the motive to spread knowledge and boost mountaineering as a sport in the youth. It also houses a gallery displaying paintings, artefacts and literature form of work related to mountaineering.

Next visit will be to ‘Zoological National Park’ where you can see major high altitude animals like Snow Leopard, Red Panda, Tibetan Wolf, etc. It will be followed by visit to ‘Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre’. It is a self help rehabilitation centre built for Tibetan refugees who escaped Tibet after following Dalai Lama. They impress the visitors with their beautifully made handicrafts.

In the evening, take a stroll at the Mall Road and browse the shops selling antiques, ethnic clothes, carpets, paintings, accessories and much more. Return to the hotel and have a pleasant overnight stay.

Day 3: Darjeeling (Own activities)

The day will be free for your personal activities. You can spend it as per wish by going for a hike, exploring nearby places or just having a laid-back time at the hotel room. [No Transportation Inlcuded this day]

Day 4: Darjeeling – Bagdogra Airport (93 Kms/ Approx. 3 Hrs)

Have breakfast and then leave for Bagdodra Airport by our chauffeur driven car bidding adieu to Darjeeling. Your Darjeeling tour package will hereby terminate .
