First a mini bus tour - good aircon - of Darwin, saw places no ordinary tourist would see, including all the bombing spots, the few places that survive today and the spot KEITH and Ross Smith touched down after their epic flight from UK. Also points of interest from cyclone Tracey. Then a tour and short film of the bombing at the Military Museum before a harbour tour pointing out damage and wrecks from the bombing.

Great to see various sites in Darwin and hear about the past that many Australians know little about.

Excellent trip....interesting and informative narration by the driver/guide and a comprehensive look at lots of the sights and sites related to the WW2 bombing of Darwin by the Japanese. Harbour Cruise was great....perfect weather and great information on the ships etc that were sunk on that tragic first attack. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Would recommend strongly for anyone looking to learn a little more about our wartime history.
