Two-day Taj Mahal and Agra tour by car from Delhi

The journey starts with a pick-up in Delhi, it will take you directly to the city of Agra where you can go through an easy check-in at the hotel. The first stop will be Agra Fort, a sister monument of the Taj Mahal, it was built when the city was still the capital before it got moved to Delhi in 1638. The fort was the main residence of the Mughal Dynasty. After lunch, the tours continues at the Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, a mausoleum also known as the 'Baby Taj' or the 'jewel box'. In the evening you can decided whether to return to your hotel, or stop at an Indian multi-cuisine restaurant for a traditional dinner.
The second day will be dedicated to the Taj Mahal and to Fatehpur Sikri. An early morning pick-up will be attending, so you can enjoy a spectacular view of the 17th Century magnificent Taj Mahal in the sunrise light. After having breakfast back at your hotel, the second phase of the tour takes you to Fatehpur Sikri, which is a 16th Century town, built by the Mughal population, famous for its architecture made of unique red sandstone buildings. You will then make your return towards Delhi.
