We had no idea what we were signed up for. The explanation online is vague. We had a tour bus completely full with 54 and every seat taken. Because it was a 6 day tour, we were given assigned seats that were changed every 2 days. Everyone got a chance to sit front, middle and back. The tour guide and driver were great. Allen kept us informed, and Hector kept us safe. Our days started early and were filled with several sites each day. Many days we were pulling out before 7am and pulling in to the next hotel at 8-9PM. They were considerate of our diets by changing things up where we would eat. They were considerate of our restroom breaks, sight seeing and shopping, and finances. The only downfall came in Hotel selection. Some of it may have not been avoidable. Full size beds instead of Queen size would be my biggest complaint. It was explained choice of hotels based on price charged. Night 1, there was flooding and rooms smelling of molds and mildew. Night 2, only one elevator worked with 3 people. Try waiting for 50 people to use a elevator. They had someone call out that could fix it. Then in the morning, someone called out that was supposed to get us breakfast. The next city was a 2 day stay in the hotel. Free breakfast was not included and full size beds were what we got for an over-priced room. Our last day was no elevator at all and breakfast time was after we had to leave. To our pleasure, the kitchen staff had 56 bag breakfasts waiting for us. This was a great idea. Understand that the original price quoted does not include food and tips and sights. Our bus was about 50% English speaking and 50% Chinese. All instructions were given in one language, they repeated in a second. It was a great cultural experience for all of us. It was a great mix of young, old, families, individuals, retired, working simple vacation lovers, and first timers.
