Your friendly local guide will meet you at your hotel and then together we’ll hop aboard public transport and head to Dhaka University campus, the centre of student life in the city and a real treat for architecture fans.
Pass By: Curzon Hall, University Street, Dhaka City 1000 Bangladesh
We’ll then head over to beautiful Curzon Hall one of the most beautiful examples of British/Mogul architecture in India, as we walk we’ll pass by the Language Monument and Sculpture Square.

History and architecture buttons sufficiently pressed, we’re thinking about our stomachs now as we move towards the New Market to taste some authentic local snacks and indulge in a spot of window shopping as we peruse the oldest market in town. This is one of the liveliest spots in Dhaka, offering a spice and vegetable market, street food vendors, food stores and clothing and footwear stalls. This is a unique opportunity to see the real Dhaka after dark — you’ll hang out with locals, see some authentic culture, and enjoy delicious traditional cuisine! Stunning views come by way of a quick stop on a pedestrian bridge to admire scenes of frenetic rickshaw lanes, city traffic and people walking everywhere!
