Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Curzon Hall, University Street, Dhaka City 1000 Bangladesh

Your local guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. Together, we’ll hop aboard public transport as the locals do and make our way over the historic campus of Dhaka University. We’ll take a stroll around the campus, taking in some of its historic sights, including the beautiful Curzon building.

Pass By: Dhaka Store, 138/7 Khan Market Mugholtoli, ঢাকা, Bangladesh

Then we’ll hitch a ride in a rickshaw to the old part of town to visit chok baraza, one of the biggest wholesale and retail markets in the city. After that, we’ll pay a visit to Koro Katra, which is considered one of the gateways of Dhaka .If you’re feeling peckish, we’ll stop for a cup of tea and a local snack to keep your energy levels up!

Pass By: Star Mosque (Tara Masjid), Abul Khairat Rd Armanitola, Old dhaka, Dhaka City Bangladesh

Next up, we’ll go explore Shankhari Bazar, one of the oldest areas of the old town and the site of many historic Hindu temples — in fact, while Dhaka is primarily a Muslim city, this district has the highest concentration of Hindus in all of Dhaka.

In addition to seeing signs of local Hindu culture, you’ll also see an Armenian church from the 18th century and the spectacular Star Mosque.

Pass By: Sadarghat, Buriganga Riverfront, Dhaka City Bangladesh

We will then enjoy the afternoon rush at Sadarghat waterfront. This bustling port is constantly buzzing with activity, as boats of all sizes ferry passengers and cargo along the Buriganga River.

Your tour ends here but your guide will be happy to help you organise transport back to your accommodation or somewhere else. Don’t forget to ask for tips on what else to see, do and eat during your stay in Dhaka.
