Stop At: Sharjah Fort - Al Hisn, Hisn Avenue Al Shuwaihean, Sharjah United Arab Emirates

Al Hisn Sharjah is a double story traditional rock, coral and adobe fortification in the centre of the city of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The fort was originally constructed in 1820 by the then Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi. It was partially demolished in January 1970, the one remaining tower (called 'kubs', that to the far right of the fort as you stand at the entrance) lending its name to the square in which it sits, 'Al Burj', Arabic for 'tower'.[1]

Dubai Gold Souk is a traditional market (or souk) in Dubai, UAE. The souk is located in Dubai's commercial business district in Deira, in the locality of Al Dhagaya. The souk consists of over 380 retailers, most of whom are jewelry traders. The major items of mall includes Gold, Platinum, Diamonds and sometimes also deals in silver.
Dubai Gold Souk is bordered to the north by the Dubai Fish and Vegetable Market and the Deira Corniche near Baniyas Square at Sikkat al-Khali Street which is in close proximity to the Deira Bus Stand. On the other side of the Dubai Creek lies Dubai Textile Souk.

It is probably the oldest fort in the UAE and was occupied by the Wahhabists.

Gracefully overlooking Ham wadi which runs from Fujairah to Siji wadi across the mountains stands Al Bithna Castle near the village to carries the same name. This castle is only 13 kilometres from the city of Fujairah. It is very close to the main road that links Fujairah to the rest of UAE. This enables tourists or visitors travelling in or out of Fujairah by car to visit this castle and at the same time enjoy the breathtaking picturesque of the majestic mountain and fascinating palm orchards surrounding it. The construction of this castle goes back to 1735 and it consists of an enormous staunch edifice graced by two watch towers on the west side.

  • The Jumeirah Grand Mosque in Dubai is open on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and & Thursdays from 08h45 till 09h45 AM only. On Mondays & Wednesdays from 09h00 to 10h00 AM and from 10h15 to 11h15 AM. The mosque is closed on Fridays.
  • The National Museum of Dubai is closed only on Fridays before 3:00 pm.
  • The arrangement of seating will depend on its availability and it will allotted by driver or tour guides or tour manager on SIC bases.
  • Ladies visiting the Mosque are required to cover their head with scarf and do not wear shorts, beachwear or sleeveless outfits as they are to be fully covered.
  • Men visiting the Mosque should wear long trousers.
  • The pickup / drop off timing on sharing transfers can be modified as per the trip schedule by 30 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions and your location.
  • Any guest failing to reach on time at the designated pick-up point will be considered a no-show. No reimbursement or alternative transfer will be arranged in such circumstances.
