Despite having an excellent driver to take us to and from the desert, we felt completely underwhelmed by the whole experience. We did a similar trip a couple of years before which was much much better. We were initially driven to a shop with the opportunity to buy some local tat. From there it was to the camp where the options for buying upgrades began. The camp was pretty run down and the quality of the food on offer wasn't great either. I would certainly recommend going on this sort of trip, but just not this one.
