My wife and I did the Desert Safari a few days ago after booking through Viator. We were picked up by Ahad in an 8 seater 4wd (with air conditioning) around 4pm. we went quad biking first (20 minute quad bike ride) which was amazing with loads of photo ops. Then went dune bashing for about 45 minutes through the desert on the way to the Bedouin camp. The Dune Bashing was brilliant, not as bumpy or scary as people made out, the driver was brilliant. Ahad stopped in the middle of the desert so we could take some amazing sunset photos, he took alot for us as well. When we got to the Bedouin camp there was free camel riding (1 minute free ride or 15AED for 15 minutes), falcon holding (not free), horse riding (not free), free sandboarding, free shisha smoking, free tea, free two course bbq dinner (which was delicious!), free soft drinks and water plus 3 amazing shows through the duration of the dinner. You can also buy alcohol at the camp if you want (they take card too). If you dont have time to be out all day but want to do everything then this is the best trip. would definitely recommend!!
