This unique excursion offers an all-day opportunity to get up close and personal with the stark and stunning beauty of nature on the UAE’s east coast. From the highs of the Hajjar mountain trails to the comforting sway of a coastal cruise, your memories will be truly unforgettable. The adventure starts with an early morning departure north east towards the coastal town of Dibba in the Musandam Peninsula. Continue to rugged Wadi Bih, dubbed Grand Canyon of the UAE, for an impressive look at the stony, jagged peaks rising a thousand meters above sea level. Then a Picnic Breakfast is taken overlooking a nearby dam. Climb through unpaved and twisting trails to reach the highest point then stop to take in the magnificent vista of quaint stone houses inserted between the jagged folds of the mountains. Make a refreshment stop before leaving for Dibba fishing village where you will embark on a traditional wooden Dhow, Arab sailing boat sailing north along the picturesque coastline. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink as your eyes explore the remarkable coastline. The Dhow lazily cruises the languid waters of the Arabian Gulf, reaching a secluded anchorage where you can try snorkeling, swimming and kayaking. A local lunch comprising items from the region and the Sub Continent are served aboard the Dhow followed by some more cruising to visit a nearby cave to admire the natural formation. Later a leisurely sail returns you to the harbor for a pleasant drive back.
