GENERAL (3AM)

General (3am in Arabic), is one of our favourite stores in Dubai located in D3. Not only is it a fashion store, it also holds local art and good coffee. This place has become a ‘unspoken’ hangout spot for the community. General or 3am carries and exhibits some of the largest international brands such as Kappa and Filling Pieces, upcoming western brands like Gold Street, and Dubai’s best regional and local streetwear such as Darya by Alia, Precious Trust, Arwa Al Banawi, Shabab Int., upclassics, Broke Club Official, Anthology to name a few. The prices here are much higher than in White Rabbit, but these are not only guaranteed originals but exclusive AF. We suggest getting some of the local #supportlocaltalent.

The owner, Peter, sells hand picked Japanese and sneakers, fashion, merch and memorabilia- including brands such as Neighbourhood and Medicom Toys (Bearbricks). They also possess a collection classic Vinyl records, which wont be found anywhere else in Dubai.

Your must visit place for anything to do with Sneakers – The Good Life Space in Alserkal Avenue. The Good Life Space run by our homie Karim, tuned his passion, sneakers, into his business. They focus on exclusive pairs (and some sneaky bags and headwear), carrying all sort of Nike, Adidas, Asics, Jordan collabs. Right across is infamous El Seed Street Art Studio and down the road The Flip Side Vinyl Record Store.

Sun & Sand Sports is the mega sportswear seller company in the UAE holding exclusivity to Nike and other major sportswear brands. They are so big that they have several outlet malls all over Dubai – to sell last-size items at discounted rates. Once you enter, endless piles of shoe boxes stacked on top of each other might intimidate you. However, if you look properly, you can find some incredible deals.

Get your sneakers cleaned! With the rise of the streetwear and sneakers industry, more & more services provide are appearing & innovating, such as Solecleanse the sneaker cleaning service. Solecleanse, one of our favourite Streetwear Startups, takes in ruined shoes, repackages them, and returns them better-than-new. The service prices vary from 50-200AED. They have a cute space in Al Attar Business Center where you can find selected memorabilia and, if she’s not out for meetings, meet the lovely owner Kika!
