Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: The Dark Hedges, off Bregagh Road, Ballymoney Northern Ireland

This lane of trees, the Dark Hedges, was featured in shows like Game of Thrones and movies like the Transformers, and is worth a photo stop on our way to the Giant's Causeway.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Giant's Causeway, Causeway Road, Bushmills BT57 8SU Northern Ireland

The Giant's Causeway site consists of 40000 interlocking hexagonal basalt columns. These columns were formed around 60 million years ago in the aftermath of a volcanic eruption. Because of the exact science of contraction that happened, this is a very unique place to visit. Not to mention it is located on one of the most spectacular coastline in Ireland with views as far as Scotland on a clear day.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Titanic Belfast, Queen's Road 1 Olympic Way, Titanic Quarter, Belfast BT3 9EP Northern Ireland

The Titanic Museum is full of interactive displays, pictures, videos and a 3D experience. Here you can experience the entire life and story of the Titanic, from her fateful maiden voyage to her eventful discovery on the seabed of the North Atlantic. The journey will take you beyond the aftermath of the sinking to the later discovery of the ship.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: City Hall Donegall Square, Belfast BT1 5GS Northern Ireland

Belfast has transformed itself from the city that was known for The Troubles, to a city that is know for the friendliest locals in the world. You will now have an opportunity for around thirty minutes to explore this amazing city centre. A perfect end to a perfect day of sightseeing before heading back to Dublin.

Duration: 30 minutes

Our day trip left Dublin on time, and we visited the Giant's Causeway, the Dark Hedges, the Titanic Experience in Belfast and a visit to Belfast's city-center. Our guide, Niall, was well-informed, had many helpful tips to improve our visit, and provided very entertaining conversation during the bus ride. He even arranged a photo op of the Dunluce castle, which was very dramatic against the dark clouds. We were very glad we took his advice to take the shuttle bus at the Giant's Causeway - the site is about one kilometer from the entrance. On a nice day, it could be a fun walk, but the rain clouds were threatening and we avoided slippery footing and had more time at the site itself. Our driver, Alex, did a great job maneuvering the bus through some narrow roads and got us where we needed to be on time. I would definitely recommend this trip.

I booked this tour due to the opportunity to get to Belfast, see the Titanic experience, and have the opportunity to see the Giant's Causeway. It was a good day, but everything was very rushed. Each stop only gave us so much time to barely skim the surface. Especially the city time in Belfast - we had less than 45 minutes to walk around, without knowing anything about where we were or what we were looking at. Titanic Experience was a waste of time if you've seen the movies - basically they are an excellent history guide, and the museum is way to big to squeeze into a two hour slot. We were on a tour with some people who got to go to the Game of Thrones Exhibition (we weren't given that opportunity, but would have loved a choice!) and I would imagine that tour was way better. The highlight was Giant's Causeway - but again, we were super rushed as you have to walk WAY down to the bottom (at least 10-15 min), then getting back up either takes 20-30 minutes UPHILL or you have to wait in line for a shuttle that costs 1.20 Euro per person. So your two hour slot quickly gets eaten away. The Dark Hedges was probably the biggest disappointment. There are SO many people walking up/down you can't enjoy, and they allow everyone to destroy the beautiful 250 yr old trees. So sad. Our guide was great, very nice, pleasant to listen to, and gave us some information. Would have been better giving us a great, in depth presentation about Ireland, being since we were on the bus for over 2.5 hours each way.

We had a great time on this tour! Our guide was Sean, and Steven was our bus driver. Since we sat up in the front of the bus, we got to get to know them and get a lot of our touristy questions asked. They are both fun guys to talk to and we really enjoyed having Sean tell us about Ireland. On our way up to Northern Ireland, we stopped at a place that had 5 different to-go food type restaurants, this is where you're encouraged to use the restroom. We were glad we stopped here because we needed breakfast and to use the bathroom. When we finally got to go to Giant's Causeway we were dropped off and were given 2 hours until we needed to return. There's a shuttle that runs from the entrance area all the way down to the Causeway, we walked down to enjoy the sites and then took the shuttle back, it costs 1 pound cash each way per person. Remember, this is UK territory, so no Euros are accepted. The walk down was about 15-20 min. and downhill, totally worth it. The Giants Causeway was definitely the highlight of the tour, everyone needs to go here! It's just an amazing site to see and walk around. It can be difficult to walk around on the rocks, they're uneven and would be slippery if it had rained, and you also need to take big steps up or down to get around. My dad was with us and he's 68 and in good physical health so he did fine, but if you have problems getting around it might be better to stay near the walkway or don't go out as far. Otherwise this place is amazing! Try to go see it, Sean mentioned that there's talk of putting a barrier up and not letting people on the rocks, not because of erosion, but because the locals steal the rocks for their gardens! Definitely go see it! The bus ride out to the Dark Hedges was gorgeous, it's really the time where you get to see the Irish countryside. It's beautiful out there. Once we got to the Dark Hedges we were given about 20 min. and really that's all you need. Look around, take pictures, and that's it. Nothing too amazing, but glad we got to go. The Titanic Experience was just ok, we were more disappointed in the museum not having any actual artifacts from the Titanic. It's more about the building of the ship and the sinking of it. We were only given about 90 min. here, and it went by really fast. It's a big museum and really you need 2-3 hours in it so we felt rushed. Afterwards we drove back to Dublin, no stops, just a straight drive in. Whatever tour you take, just make sure you go to Giant's Causeway.

Our guide was Kevin and our Driver was Milan! Two awesome guys who took great care of us! They paced the trip perfectly so we weren’t stuck in a bus for too long! Great music along the way, humorous commentary along the way- historically knowledgeable about the area and Ireland as a whole. Great suggestions for places to eat and overall helpful. Plus you will love a lesson on traditional Irish language! 10 out of 10!

We continue to use Viator and continue to be pleased, great itinerary and very worthwhile, only suggestion is to reduce the time at Giantscauseway and increase time in Belfast. If you pay for the walk to and from the bottom of the trail (2 euros) you can easily save 45 minutes which would be much better used in Belfast. An hour to see central sites is completely inadequate. But the titanic museum is not to be missed, extraordinary, tour guide was great, coach a bit too tight between seats. Otherwise, great,

Excellent Tour! I have never seen a museum like this. Very interactive, a lot of things to play with, and they even have a ride inside!! We had two hours to explore. Very good timing. And then we went to the Giant's Causeway. We got there when other tourists and busses were leaving so we managed to take some really cool pictures. Then we went to the famous dark tree lane. Again, no one there! Originally when I booked a tour like this I was expecting tourists everywhere, in the background of my pictures etc. But not for this tour! I think they really spent some time planning this and negotiating with the others. The driver is very experienced. Driving through small roads safely. The guide was hilarious and informative at the same time! Highly highly recommended!!!!
