Dublin Glendalough & Powerscourt Gardens Tour

About this activity
Need a break from Dublin's urban sprawl? Hop on a bus and go on an adventure to two of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland where you can clear your mind and be at peace. You'll first travel to the picturesque Glendalough Valley in County Wicklow, which Dubliners love for its idyllic beauty and serenity. Go for a stroll around the valley, visit the ruins of a monastery founded by Saint Kevin back in the 6th century, and have lunch at the nearby hotel. After spending some time being one with nature in Glendalough Valley, you'll pass by the humble town of Enniskerry, and then arrive at the Powerscourt Estate where you can go for a relaxing walk or romp around its gorgeous gardens. The garden was voted by National Geographic as the third best garden in the entire world and it has the Wicklow Mountains as its backdrop. You can enter the estate's Japanese gardens, the pet cemetery, and have some tea and scones at the Avoca Cafe. You'll make your way back to Dublin after a while, but before arrive there, you'll drop by the humble suburban town of Blackrock and the beautiful Sandymount Strand, a popular place for locals who love to go for walks. To make this trip package even sweeter, it comes with the following bonuses: 1) a free walking tour with the famous Dublin historian Pat Liddy, who will take you to the hidden gems in Dublin that can only be reached by foot; 2) a free admission to the Little Museum of Dublin where you can learn all there is to know about city. This is definitely going to be a trip to remember and it's a must for nature lovers.
