Glendalough, Wexford and Johnstown Castle with Spanish Speaking Guide

Travel the ancestral east coast of Ireland, through green Irish forests, past beautiful lakes, the Wicklow mountains and to Glendalough – the “Glen of two lakes” where you will visit St. Kevin’s monastery. Other wonderful views of medieval castles, immense beaches and fishing villages will appear throughout this tour and you will have time to stop to enjoy some of these landscapes.

The first stop will be in Glendalough with its two spectacular lakes, where you will take a walk and take in the stunning scenery. Visit also its imposing monastic complex of the 6th century in which highlights its traditional Irish circular tower. The Vikings attacked this monastery on several occasions.

The next stop on your journey will be in the small and picturesque city of Wexford. Founded by the Vikings in 800 AD, Wexford maintains its image as a medieval Norman city with its walls, small streets, towers and its port. You will also have time for some lunch here. A short distance from Wexford, stop at the spectacular Johnstown Castle, one of the most beautiful in all of Ireland. You will arrive back in Dublin between 19:30 and 20:00.
