About this activity
Start the day with pickup from select Dublin hotels in the early morning and head north out of the city by luxury coach. After roughly two hours, arrive in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland and home to the Titanic Visitor Experience – your first stop of the day. Living up to the hype that surrounded its opening in early 2012, this must-see center allows you to relive the intriguing Titanic story on the very site where the ship was built.

As you walk through the exhibition’s galleries, learn about the ship’s creation, her fateful voyage and final resting place on the bed of the Atlantic Ocean. Explore the center’s interactive discovery zones, and encounter special effects, dark rides and full-scale reconstructions as you learn everything there is to know about the Titanic. Visit the on-site Ocean Exploration Centre, where you’ll discover the sophisticated technologies that track the behavior of oceans and seabeds today.

After a break to take lunch at the center (own expense), leave the city lights of Belfast behind and hit the road to the Northern Irish coast. Following a route known as the Antrim Coastal Drive, pass spectacular scenery including rocky shores, wooded glens and quaint harbors. Stop to admire the romantic views of the ruins of the 15th-century Dunluce Castle, which rest at the edge of a dramatic cliff. Fans of hit TV show Game of Thrones may recognize this as the setting of the House of Greyjoy.

After traveling for roughly two hours, arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Giant’s Causeway, where you’ll have two hours to explore at leisure. Created more than 60 million years ago after a series of volcanic eruptions, the causeway is famous for its distinctive rock formations that span nearly 18 miles (29 km) of dramatic coastline.

After exploring this incredible site, meet your guide and embark on an exhilarating walk across the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, which is suspended over an intimidating chasm between the mainland and Carrick-a-Rede Island. The surrounding headlands were used as a filming location for Game of Thrones.

Come later afternoon, begin the journey home. Take a brief stop in the pretty town of Castlebelingham to stretch your legs, before arriving in Dublin in the evening.

Noel and Sydney were awesome! Excellent and informative guides through our journey to Northern Ireland and Giant's Causeway. It was greatly appreciated to learn more about the history of the areas that we visited as well as the awesome photo opportunities. On our way back to Dublin we were given great suggestions on pubs to visit and great places for food. Go raibh maith agat!

What a great day. First of all, our tour guide Noel was awesome. He was funny, smart and handsome. Very knowledgeable about all the areas we were visiting. He told great stories and kept us entertained for the long ride in the morning and in the evening. Titanic museum was great. My son loved it. The Giants Causeway was amazing. We loved climbing on the rocks. The rope bridge was surprisingly not scary at all. The cliff's there were incredible. Yes, it was a long day but it was worth it. And Paulo our driver was great. Thanks for getting us there and back safely.

This was good full day tour. Great tour guide Tara - very knowledgeable pointing out places of interest along the route and excellent driver – Joe. They made sure we all got to see as much as possible while still keeping us on schedule. We were also given tips on museums and restaurants that we used and were extremely grateful for.

An excellent trip! A very long day - 13 hours from beginning to end and could have done with more time at the Titanic Belfast. Giants Causeway was amazing and we were lucky to have a nice sunny day! I can highly recommend this trip

The tour itself is worthy of 5 stars but I rated 4 because of the tour guide, Murphy and the driver Paulo. When I arrived at the pickup point another Wild Rover tour driver informed me that the actual pickup point had been changed. It was only across the street but a lot of confusion could have been avoided by informing customers in advance. The bus arrived 15 minutes late and the guide, Murphy seemed to have an attitude right from the beginning. He was not particularly welcoming or friendly. He began the tour with a lot of good commentary and announced that questions would help the tour go better. However, as the tour progressed the commentary progressively diminished and when questions were asked he either didn't know the answer or seemed put off by them. The sites we passed or stop at were extraordinarily beautiful (weather was gorgeous) but Murphy provided little information about many of them. I booked this particular tour because Wild Rover was advertised as the only one that included Dunluce Castle. However it turned out not to be an actual stop. But to Paulo's credit, he did stop for a couple of minutes for photos. Thanks Paulo. The ride back to Dublin was over an hour and that would have been a great time for questions. But Murphy played a musical video and then at the end even made a rather strong pitch for tips. The highlight of this trip for me was the black taxi ride to "trouble" sites in Belfast.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with our Viator tour to Belfast, Giant's Causeway and the Carrick-a Rede bridge! Our tour guide Kim and driver Sean were great! The black taxi tour in Belfast is not to be missed! Kim was very knowledgeable as well as humorous! This was definitely a highlight of our trip and we're so glad we did it! Thank you!

My husband and I LOVED this Northern Ireland tour! Our tour guide Richard, and driver John, were awesome! Richard was so great at explaining all the wonderful sights in Northern Ireland and Belfast. We had a great time at the Titanic Belfast museum, Giant's Causeway, and Carrick-a-Rede bridge. I HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone. It's worth every penny! Even though the weather was less than ideal, our guide still made sure we got as much out of the experience as possible!

Our tour had a "bad day". We got stopped on the freeway for over an hour and a half due to a major road incident. We arrived at the Titanic Exhibit which was nice, but extremely crowded, making it hard to see the exhibits and we probably had less time due to the road incident. After we returned to the bus, we were told that the remainder of the tour had been cancelled due to some extremely high winds making it unsafe to do Giant's Causeway. All of this being beyond the control of the driver or guide, they made the best of it. They were both friendly and professional. J.P was the guide and I'm sorry I forgot the name of the driver. We could not re-book our Wild Rover Tour because we were leaving the next morning for home, though they did make that offer.

Very informative road trip - the driver and guide were both very friendly and made sure we all got to see as much as possible while still keeping us on schedule. We had the option of the Titanic Visitor Centre or a black cab tour of Belfast. We chose the Visitor Centre, but I think I would have preferred the tour of the city. Maybe next time...

This was an excellent full day tour. We chose to do the Titanic Experience (vs. the Taxi Cab). It was very informative and well done, giving you an indepth view from the building of the Titanic to the aftermath. Going to the Giant's Causeway was awesome! Our guide Peter and driver Sarah kept us safe, informed and entertained throughout the day. We highly recommend this tour.

The day started on the bus around 7:30 and ended around 8:30, but we were never bored. Our guide / storyteller Michael was outstanding and made our time on the bus thoroughly enjoyable! Both the Titanic Experience and the Giant'so Causeway attractions were fantastic, and a third attraction, the Cerikk A Rede Rope Bridge was an unexpected thrill. A memorable day!
