Ancient Town of Ston,Korcula Island Day Tour with Wine Tasting from Dubrovnik

If you’ve seen everything there is to see in Dubrovnik and you’re itching to go and see what lies beyond it, then go on a day tour that’ll take you to the ancient town of Ston and the beautiful island of Korčula! Both of these places are located in the Pelješac Peninsula. As you move along, you’ll be able to enjoy spectacular views of the peninsula’s famous vineyards, so make sure to bring a fully-charged camera so you can take awesome snapshots. Ston is famous for its well-preserved centuries-old stone structures and its mighty medieval walls! You’ll have the opportunity to roam around the quaint streets of this town and learn about its incredible history. After that, you’ll go to Orebić, where you’ll ride a boat that’ll take you to Korčula Island. There, you’ll find the St. Mark’s Cathedral and the house of the legendary Venetian explorer, Marco Polo. To cap off the tour, you’ll rest your weary body in the winery village of Potomje where you’ll taste a variety of the local wine, brandy, and liquor flavors. This is definitely a must for anyone looking to go on an adventure outside Dubrovnik.
Itinerary:
• Please note that the schedule provided below is only for reference. The timings may change depending on the traffic conditions on the date of your tour
• 7:00am-7:45am get picked up from your Dubrovnik hotel
• 8:00am depart for the Pelješac Peninsula
• Short break on the Dubrovnik bridge for a scenic view of the town
• Travel to the ancient town of Ston
• Arrive in Ston and explore it (you will also have some free time)
• Depart for the port town of Orebić
• Arrive in Orebić and ride a boat to Korčula Island
• Arrive in Korčula Island and go tour around it
• Visit Marco Polo's House (a fee of EUR3 is required per person to enter it)
• Visit St. Mark's Cathedral
• Return to Orebić and depart for the village of Potomje
• Visit a winery in Potomje and taste some local wine, brandy, and other liquors
• Return to Dubrovnik
• 8:00pm arrive in Dubrovnik and get dropped off at your hotel (end of the tour)
