BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA - MONTENEGRO DAY TRIP FROM CAVTAT

Your day will start a little bit earlier, at 8.30 am since we need to make it in time to see the picturesque farmers market in the city of Trebinje, Eastern Herzegovina. It looks exactly how farmer’s markets are supposed to look, colorful and tasty. Old ladies selling cheese will be happy to offer you some to sample.

THE CITY OF TREBINJE IN EASTERN HERZEGOVINA AND WINE TASTING IN EMPEROR'S VINEYARDS

You will stroll through the old part of the city before continuing towards the East, to Emperor’s vineyards, established during the Austrian rule in the 19th century. Vineyards were recently revived by a family of wine makers from Trebinje. Family members will meet you there and tell you all about their passion for wines while you sample some of them along with different kinds of cheese, smoked ham and salads.

OUR LADY OF THE ROCKS AND KOTOR IN MONTENEGRO

Next, you will continue to Montenegro, where the beautiful view of the Kotor Bay will appear in front of you after approximately one hour of a pleasant drive. You will visit Perast and embark on a boat to cross over to the artificially made island in the 17th century, called Our Lady of the Rocks.

Your last stop will be Kotor, walled Venetian city. You will have time to explore on your own before heading back to your hotel. You can expect to be back around 7 pm, but it all depends on the situation on the borders.
