ITINERARY
DAY 1. Arrive in Dubrovnik.
DAY 2. You start off your epic trip with a ride on the Peljescac Peninsula through vineyards, sleepy villages and winding roads. The ride is 95 km long with 1.000 meters elevation gain.
DAY 3. Following a short ride to the shores of the peninsula, you take the ferry back to the Dalmatian coast. You then continue to ride towards Makarska. The highlight for today is the climb to Sveti Jure, the highest pass in Croatia. This peak reaches 1.700 meters from the sea level. The climb is 20 km long with an average of 5.5 %. The route for today is 90 kilometers long with 2.000 meters elevation gain.
DAY 4. In the morning you take the ferry to the Island of Brac, the highest island of the Adriatic with its peak Vidova Gora, 778 meters. In case you're wondering, yes, you are going to climb this unique peak. When the weather is clear enough you can even see Italy. In the evening you head back to Makarska with the ferry. The ride for today is a 90 kilometers long and 1.300 elevation gain.
DAY 5. You spend the following two days exploring the amazing island of Hvar, Croatia's premier island, the sunniest in Europe, and the island with the most UNESCO heritage sites in the world. In your first day on the island, you make a complete tour from the East to the West of the Island, until you reach the spectacular city of Hvar. The ride for today is 90 km long and 1.300 meters elevation gain.
DAY 6. Today you ride to one of the highest points on the island, at around 500 meters elevation. The tour starts from Hvar with a challenging 7 km uphill to Brusje followed by some rolling hills covering the top of the island, with beautiful views of the both sides of the island. The ride for today is 60 km long with 1.000 meters elevation gain.
