About this activity
Discover the charming little town of Ston with its 5-kilometre long walls and the island of Korčula - the hometown of Marco Polo, the famous world traveller. Ston is renowned for its delicious oysters and the old salt ponds where the salt is still produced the old way.

After Ston we will drive along the Pelješac Peninsula, stopping at a local winery to taste some of the famous local wines.

The tour continues with a drive to Orebić where we take a boat to Korčula. After the sightseeing tour you will have enough free time to visit the house where Marko Polo (1254.), the first person who introduced Europe to the developed and powerful Chinese civilization, was born. On our way back, in Prapratno, we will visit a local restaurant and taste clams and wine.

Ston was disappointing, but Korcula is quaint, interesting and has good food. We would go back to Korcula to spend a few days just relaxing.
