Mljet Island Private Excursion from Dubrovnik

Great mythical Greek hero and king of Ithaca, Odysseus is said to have been lured and made hostage by the nymph Calypso after being shipwrecked on the breathtaking island of Mljet. Now popular for its astonishing National Park, the island is a forested paradise containing miraculous sea lakes and the Benedictine monastery of Saint Mary, dating back to the 12th century.
Enjoying a spectacular panoramic view of several islands on the way to Mljet with an optional private guide, the first stop is at a sea cave on the island of Kolocep. After exploring the cave and swimming in the radiant blue sea, the trip continues to our main destination. With a National Park that takes up the majority of the island, and many forts and tombs to see, there will be more than enough things to do on the island for an amazing day on this beautiful forested island.
After free time to explore the sea lakes and the Benedictine monastery of St. Mary, there will be time to enjoy lunch in Pomena, a close-by village, before departing back to Dubrovnik and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Mljet, the Elaphite Islands and several coastal villages along the way.
