About this activity
The tour will commence with a drive along the scenic route, taking in spectacular views of the Penneshaw Coastline and traveling to Pennington Bay.

Arrive at Pennington Bay for a photo shoot. This is a stunning beach where dolphins and whales can sometimes be spotted frolicking in the water.

Visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus where you can learn how a traditional Australian Bush Product is made at South Australia's only commercial Eucalyptus Oil Distillery. Emu Ridge is an excellent retail outlet that offers an extensive range of local products as well as tastings for Kangaroo Island Ciders. Enjoy a guided tour and learn how the distillation process takes place.

Enjoy a wine tasting at Bay of Shoals Wines that showcases some of Kangaroo Island's own wine, before taking a scenic drive into Kingscote where you will stop at a cafe for lunch at your own expense (optional).

Visit Island Beehive where you can taste the various flavors of honey and have a look around in the gift shop.

Visit Island Pure Sheep Dairy where you can watch the milking of sheep and see how cheese and yoghurt are made as well as sample some of the products.

Make your way to The Lavender Farm (if not open, you will visit Kangaroo Island Spirits) and enjoy the surroundings and have some time for lavender scones and tea or coffee before making your way back to your cruise ship.

This was an amazing tour and our guide was fantastic. We arrived to Kangaroo Island on a cruise ship and fellow travellers had tours that saw 3 placesorganised by the ship but we visited about 8. We were in a very comfortable airconditioned mini touring bus. We got fantastic value for money and it was easy to meet our guide to begin the trip. This was a very personal way of seeing Kangaroo island by a local who knew and loved K.I well. My father was elderly and was well catered for. Yes we absolutely recommend this tour !!!

Having recently been to Kangaroo Island, a repeat 'tourist' excursion was not required. This tour was great with limited scenic views but those included were fabulous, but visits to iconic island food locations ie honey farm, sheep diary, lavender farm to name a few. Host, Kylie, was very helpful and knowledgeable about her home island. The six of us enjoyed the day.

Tour was very good and we covered a lot of ground in one day. Our guides, Rose and Kylie, were great.
