About this activity
Our one hour Taster tours begin with comprehensive training. Segways are intuitive to ride. We will get you up and moving safely and skillfully in next to no time.
Then we’re off around inner city Dunedin
Get a sense of the history and stories of the colonial past, the relationships of Tangata Whenua with the Scottish settlers. Explore the Chinese influence on the city since the gold rushes of the 1860’s. See the historic buildings, the original hub of the city at the ‘Exchange’ and the first churches. Take in the prominent city street art and get a photo at the most photographed building in the country. Finally the settlers’ museum ‘Toitu’ and the ‘Chinese gardens’ .
The ride will feel like it flies by, but we will always make time for fun and photos. You wont be able to wipe the wide grin off your face.
