Inshore Fishing in Durban is great fun on our 19ft Catamaran called Nawty Girl.
Nawty Girl is fully equipped for fishing with top class Shimano tackle, outriggers, fighting chair and Furuno electronics. Powered by twin 90Hp Mercury outboard motors, she is an open boat with a covered T-Top area by the front helm, built for fishing she is a basic boat with no frills and has no toilet onboard. There is a sound system on board. She comes with an experienced Captain and Mate along with all required safety equipment. She is a safe and steady boat; expect to get splashed if the sea gets choppy.
This is a light tackle fishing trip not far from shore, about 5km max, it is a fun trip intended for beginners or those just looking for some fun, it is an ideal trip for Families with kids.
Here we do some light tackle trolling for game fish like Bonito and Yellowfin Tuna that are found inshore, or we do some light tackle reef fishing. Conditions and season with dictate what fishing is done and what fish are targeted. This is not a trip targeting big fish, it is a fun trip targeting smaller fish on light tackle that are found inshore to allow for a fun fishing experience that is light hearted.
All tackle and bait are provided along with help from the crew.
We are highly experienced and know our waters well, have a good record and reputation but do not guarantee any fish, there are too many variables and conditions dictate, we always give our best efforts.

To bring With: Suitable clothing for fishing, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, towel, snacks, refreshments, camera and Fishing License. It gets hot in the summer and winter mornings are chilly, it is always best to bring a light rain jacket.
Please consult your chemist for sea sickness tablets if you prone to this.
Note: Please don't forget to get your Fishing License's from any South African Post Office before your trip.
