About this activity
Day 1
You'll be collected at 8am from your accommodation in the Durban or surrounding area by your private battlefield guide. Your first stop is at KwaDukuza where you'll get to learn about the Zulu people and their history before heading onto the Isandlwana battlefield. This is a four hour drive and along the way your guide will chat to you about the amazing history of the Anglo Zulu War.
On arrival at Isandlwana you'll get to enjoy a picnic lunch before you're escorted onto the battlefield with your private guide to learn more about the events that occurred on this fateful day. After this tour you'll check into your accommodation.
Day 2
On day 2 you''' get to enjoy a fantastic breakfast before we depart for Fugitives Drift where you'll discover the amazing feats of bravery and desperation that occurred at this site. You'll then get to head onto Rorkes Drift and enjoy a tour of the actual site that the fighting between the Zulu and British occurred.
You'll return back to the hotel for lunch and then depart for Durban.
