Day 1: Edinburgh to Loch Ness

Stop At: Dunkeld Cathedral, 1.5 hours drive north of Edinburgh, Dunkeld Scotland
Spend some time in Macbeth country, exploring Dunkeld and its mighty Cathedral.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Tomatin Distillery Visitor Centre, Inverness IV13 7YT Scotland
We stop at a Highland whisky distillery where you can discover how Scotland’s favourite tipple, the ‘Water of Life’ is made. For those brave enough, there’s even the opportunity to taste a wee dram.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Loch Ness, Scotland
We follow the entire length of Loch Ness searching for a glimpse of the legendary beast and stop for photos.

Day 2: Loch Ness to the Isle of Skye

Stop at various places on the Isle of Skye where your guide will recount the many myths and legends that come from the area

Stop At: Portree Harbour, Off the Sound of Rassay, Portree Scotland
Enjoy a lunch break in the main settlement of Portree
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: The Old Man of Storr, Scotland
We explore the windswept landscape, stunning coastline and dramatic mountain ranges. There will be time for a walk if weather and conditions permit.

Stop At: Kilt Rock, Scotland
View the incredible coastal rock formations.

Day 3: Loch Ness to Edinburgh

Leave Loch Ness and travel south through the Great Glen.

Enjoy the view over the mountain of the Highlands, especially Ben Nevis

Stop At: Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glenfinnan Scotland
View the world famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, made famous in Harry Potter.

Stop At: The Meeting of the Three Waters, Glencoe Village Scotland
Our route south takes us through the stunning rugged landscape of Glencoe, once used as a backdrop in the James Bond - Skyfall movie and the scene of 1692 massacre of the MacDonald Clan.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: National Wallace Monument, Hillfoots Road Abbey Craig, Stirling FK9 5LF Scotland
We head to Stirling, the scene of some of Scotland’s most famous and bloody battles in the Wars of Independence. Hear of local legends such as William Wallace and Robert the Bruce before the Highlands change back to the Lowlands.

Haggis Adventure staff especially Gillian Super Gill is the funniest storyteller I have met and heard...very entertaining and lots of funny jokes and not a bad singer LOL...Thanks for all the information and accommodation the tour guide had extended to our group. Keep up the good work. As it says Budget tour yet perfect enough for a glimpse of the highlands venue. Two thumbs up!
