A tour for history and movie lovers alike, we take you to the magnificent Melrose Abbey ruin, resting place of Robert the Bruce’s heart. Then it’s on to Alnwick Castle (entry not included) which you may recognize from the Harry Potter films. It is arguably the most family friendly castle in the UK. You can spend hours here, learning to fly like the famous wizard, exploring the grand rooms and hearing terrifying tales in the underground lost cellars. There are also incredible gardens to wander, each with different themes. There are numerous incredible water features and even a tree house.

It was a really raining day but this was one of the most amazing tours I have ever been and I already have gone so many tours... This tour guide, Jamie, was so talented on showing us the borders, telling the stories behind the scenarios and also talking about Scotland in general. Jamie understood that the heavy raining was kind of interfering with our ability to enjoy the trip so, he improvised and changed a bit the itinerary in order to please us. The scenes were unbelievable beautiful and his mood and genuine interest in amuse us gave the trip a big plus. My son and I really appreciated this experience.
