Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Edinburgh and drive up north

Pass By: Biddy Mulligans, 94-96 Grassmarket, Edinburgh EH1 2JR Scotland
Your friendly guide will pick you up from pick up point in Edinburgh at 09:00.

Next we will drive up north to the highlands stopping at various beautiful locations on the way to stretch our legs, take in the scenery and eat lunch.

At the campsite your guide will instruct you on using our tents and equipment.

Eat Dinner

After dinner your guide will brief you on the upcoming trek and will answer any questions you might have.

Day 2: Glenfinnan - Glen Dessarry

Pass By: Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glenfinnan Scotland
The Trek will commence from the trail head at Glenfinnan.

Expect to walk for up to 8 hours.

Take in the beautiful Scottish scenery.

Make camp, eat and sleep.

Day 3: Glen Dessarry - Sourlies bay

Stop At: The Old Forge Public House, Inverie Knoydart, Mallaig PH41 4PL Scotland
Breakfast and take down camp

Trek over a beautiful mountain pass to a secluded bay right in the heart of Knoydart

This day boast spectacular views and one of my favourite camp spots.

Expect to walk for up to 8 hours.

Day 4: Sourlies bay - Inverie

Pass By: The Old Forge Public House, Inverie Knoydart, Mallaig PH41 4PL Scotland
Trek to the campsite in Inverie.

This is one of the harder days with a lot of uphill walking but also has the greatest reward waiting at the end.

Expect to walk for up to 8 hours.

Have a well deserved shower.

Enjoy a beer at the Old Forge Inn.

Day 5: Inverie - Isle of Skye

Stop At: Sligachan Old Bridge, A863/a87, Sligachan IV47 8SW Scotland
Take in the spectacular views of Skye, Rhum and Eigg from the ferry ride to Mallaig.

Back on the bus and we head first East to Fort William then head north to Skye.

Stop at the famous Eilean Donan Castle (Used in The Highlander movie) for a wee look around and a spot of lunch.

Set up camp and have dinner, your guide will then brief you on the upcoming trek and answer any questions you might have.

Day 6: Sligachan Hotel - Loch Coruisk

Stop At: Loch Coruisk, Elgol IV47 8SW Scotland
Breakfast and break camp

Short drive to trailhead

Trek through Glen Sligachan and over the pass to the hidden gem, Loch Coruisk.

Expect to walk for up to 8 hours.

Set up camp, eat, sleep.

Duration: 1 day

Day 7: Loch Coruisk - Elgol

Pass By: Isle of Skye Market Square, A87 Situated next to the coop, Broadford IV49 9AB Scotland
Breakfast and break camp.

Sit and take in for the last time the incredible views of loch Coruisk.

Hike from Loch Coruisk out to the road near Elgol.

Expect to walk for up to 8 hours.

Short drive to campsite.

Eat, drink and celebrate our last evening together.

Day 8: Skye - Edinburgh

Pass By: Biddy Mulligans, 94-96 Grassmarket, Edinburgh EH1 2JR Scotland
Eat and break camp for the last time.

Hop on the bus back to Edinburgh :)

Stop for lunch and to stretch the legs

Hopefully back around 5pm
