Full-Day Loch Ness Coach Tour from Edinburgh
From Edinburgh central, we take you through the Scottish Highlands to Loch Ness and back in 1 Day. Using state-of-the-art technology, we offer you a personalised and unique touring experience as our guiding is done through the use of audio visual material presented on individual tablets. This allows you to experience the sights and sounds of Scotland in depth as we show footage of inside the castles and over the forests you only get to see from the coach windows. We hope to have the audio visual tour available in English, German and Spanish and an English children's version by the start of the 2018 season, with more languages to follow through the course of the year. Our luxury full size coaches offer USB charging points at each seat, an on board toilet and spacious comfortable seats. We aim to make this tour through the heart of Scotland as comfortable and interesting as possible for all visitors to our bonny Scotland!
As we leave Edinburgh, we head over the Firth of Forth, where three bridges from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries run side by side and are still in use today. Our first stop of the day is at the Victorian town of Pitlochry for 45 minutes. Here you have time to explore the town and get a bite to eat before we head off to our main attraction of the day...
On our route north, we you can see Blair Castle and Dalwhinney Distillery from the coach before we drive through the Cairngorms National Park.
We spend around 2 hours in Forth Augustus, a village that sits at the southernmost tip of Loch Ness. You can buy discounted seats while on the bus if you wish to enjoy a 60 minute cruise on Loch Ness while visiting Fort Augustus. You have time to visit the local shops selling Nessie souvenirs, enjoy a leisurely meal and experience the lock system allowing boats to move uphill and downhill.
On our return journey south, we travel along the beautiful western side of Scotland and make three 10 minute photo stops at the Commando Memorial, Glencoe and Loch Tulla viewpoint.
Our final destination is for 45 minutes at the delightful town of Callander where you can explore the village and grab a takeaway meal to enjoy along our final journey to Edinburgh.
You won't want to nap for the last leg of the journey as we take in the sights of Doune Castle, the River Teith, the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle, the Kelpies and Linlithgow Palace along our route.
Our full-day Scottish day tour comes to an end as we return to Edinburgh City Centre for around 7:45pm.
We are sure the memories of your day with us will stay with you for ever!
