Stop At: The Hermitage of Braid and Blackford Hill Local Nature Reserve, 69 Braid Road, Edinburgh EH10 6JF Scotland
This is an IMPORTANT TOUR to do! Do you want to discover one of the seven hills of Edinburgh, the Hidden beauty, history, nature and STUNNING VIEWS of the capital with a Gentle and Easy Walk? Then this is the ideal tour for you.
I'll introduce you one of the oldest & most significant part of the city, we will explore Edinburgh historically, geologically and much more...
We'll be walking along the winding rocky river of Braid Burn, observing the sounds of the nature - undiscovered, unknown by most of the tourists.
As the highlight of the tour, I'll take you to a spot where you will have a breathtaking panoramic view of Edinburgh.
At the end if you have a bit of more time, I can show you where Harry Potter's author lived!
Important info:
1. Basic fitness level is enough, slow walkers & all ages are welcome.
2. Good and comfortable walking footwear is essential and don't forget your waterproof jacket - just in case.
3. Tour will last 2 to 3 hours depending on how we walk, I like to keep things flexible.
4. Kids under 12 can join for free (children under 18 must be accompanied by adults)
5. We will meet in front of Bank of Scotland at Morningside Station bus stop (close to city centre)
(PLEASE NOTE: If your preferred date & time is shown not available in my calendar, please contact me for arrangement. I have 2 other tours as well that you might be interested in.)
