Took this tour on 9/23/19 and so glad I did. Tully was the guide and driver for the shuttle. He was entertaining and knowledgeable about the different Lochs and areas we were driving through. He gave plenty of time at stops and provided clear instructions on departure time and about our overall agenda for the tour. Thanks Tully for a great experience.
I was taking a quick trip to Edinburgh by myself for a few days and wanted to see a little more than just the city. Being a little limited with the ability to travel, I found this tour and booked immediately-- and have no regrets! The day was packed and it was a great way to get a quick overview of some of the highland areas. Barry, our tour guide was amazing and made me feel right at home, being a solo traveler!
We only had a few days in Edinburgh, but we wanted to see the important sights of the highlands and this was a great option. You do spend a lot of time in a van and not much time at most stops since the itinerary is quite packed and the locations are spread out, but it was worth it to us to be able to see so much of the highlands packed into a day.
What a way to experience Scotland Highlands than with a tour like this! Ricky went above and beyond to take the group to everything and more. The knowledge behind each visit and even the off trail ‘itinerary’ ones was exactly what I loved about this tour! Great banter, never a dull moment and with all the sleepers in the back we were all worn out with all the stops! Thanks Ricky!
If you want to see a lot of the Highlands in not a lot of time, this is a pretty good tour. It could have been better through. Our guide Tully was doing his best, but the aspects out of his control were not 5 star worthy. For example, stopping at a rest area that EVERY other tour company stopped at was not the best. Nor the poor ventilation in the van. Nor the hurried pace. Nor the constant upsell for the Loch Ness cruise. But, I saw what I wanted, and thus the 4 of 5 stars.
This was a great, jam packed tour! We covered a lot of ground and saw many beautiful sights in a day. Tully was an awesome tour guide!!! Thank you, Tully!!! He gave us a lot of information about the sights we were seeing as well as other stories about Scotland. We had plenty of time at each stop to take beautiful pictures and enjoy the sights.
Trip was good! Weather amazing sun falling down over Highlands our driver stops in every possible point to shown us the best of the best! Even James Bond places!! From Sky Fall! Lots of stories and Legend and unforgetfull Loch Ness tour with Nessi on the end! If you want to see Scotland in one day highly recomened!!
The guide and driver were great so much information and tips was a really great day , glencoe was so pretty
