Day 1: Edinburgh - Tobermory

Pass By: bus station, Edinburgh New Town, Edinburgh EH1 3DX, UK
Check-in 15 mins prior to departure and meet with your driver guide for this tour.

Stop At: Glencoe Visitor Centre, PH49 4HX Scotland
Famous for a bloody ancient massacre, this beautiful spot offers peaceful waterside views from the site of ancient ruins.

Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes

Stop At: Tobermory Distillery, High Street, Tobermory PA75 Scotland
** We do not visit the distillery, but Tobermory town itself.

You arrive in Tobermory, the island’s capital, for our three-night stay. Tobermory, meaning ‘Well of Mary’, has brightly coloured houses looking over the sea and is often referred to as one of the prettiest harbour towns in Scotland.

Day 2: Flexible day touring around the Isle of Mull

Stop At: Calgary Bay, Scotland
Bright white sands front crystalline water in this famously beautiful spot for pictures.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Tobermory Distillery, High Street, Tobermory PA75 Scotland
An early afternoon return to Tobermory, allows you to soak up the atmosphere of this pretty town. You have a chance to peruse the small shops, and the local Tobermory whisky distillery.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Kilmore Standing Stones AKA Cnoc Fada, Scotland
Photo stop and short walk to the standing stones with lovely views over Dervaig (walking/waterproof boots recommended).
Duration: 20 minutes

Day 3: Tobermory - Fionnphort - Iona - Staffa/Fingal's Cave

Pass By: Fionnphort Beach, 8 A849, Isle of Mull PA66 6BL, UK
You leave Tobermory and head south to Fionnphort, where you take a passenger ferry to the small island of Iona.

Stop At: Iona Abbey and Nunnery, Iona Abbey Iona ABBEY ISLE, PA76 6SQ Scotland
Beauty and spirituality mingle here, with the near 1500 year old Christian settlement complementing Iona’s ancient majesty.

Iona is an island of quiet charm, and is the cradle of Celtic Christianity.

You have time to explore the island’s Abbey, and museum of history and Celtic heritage. There are magnificent Celtic crosses and headstones to see, or, alternatively, you can enjoy a stroll along the peaceful sandy beaches.

Stop At: Fingal’s Cave, PA76 6SW Scotland
In the afternoon, you have the opportunity to take a small boat to the island of Staffa, where nature enthusiasts can seek out the abundant marine life.

Staffa is home to Fingal’s cave, which is one of the most amazing geological sites, and is known as ‘Nature’s cathedral’.
*** If Staffa boat is running - takes 3 hours for the whole journey so you will get about 1.5 hours on Iona.

Day 4: Craignure - Oban - Edinburgh

Stop At: Inveraray Castle, Inverary, Inveraray PA32 8XE Scotland
Continuing west, you arrive in the whitewashed 18th Century town of Inveraray, on the shores of Loch Fyne. Inveraray castle is a mixture of Scots Baronial and Neo-Gothic architecture and is the seat of Clan Campbell.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Rest and be Thankful, A83, Arrochar, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park G83 7AD Scotland
After leaving the town, you arrive in the National Park of Loch Lomond and climb up more than 800 feet to the ‘Rest and be Thankful’.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Oban Distillery Stafford Street, Oban PA34 5NH Scotland
** Not enough time for the distillery, we just visit Oban town.

Departing Tobermory, we head south to Craignure for a short crossing to Oban, the biggest town in Argyll. Lunch stop and opportunity to taste the delicious local products and seafood!
