Prepare for battle at Bannockburn, the site famous for Robert the Bruce’s epic triumph against the English army in 1314. Even you will leave feeling patriotic, as you learn about Bruce’s bravery, battle tactics and success in gaining independence for Scotland.

Next we will charge up the hill of Abbey Craig to the Wallace Monument to hear tales of William Wallace’s victory against the English army in 1297 which stoked the flames of Scottish Independence, and his brutal execution in 1305.
