Martin was a fabulous driver and gave all kind of detail. Played scotish music and band to keep us in the moment. Very personable.
We had such a great time on this tour! It was a mix of history, humor, and adventure. Our guide Gregor was fantastic and so knowledgeable. He is a great asset to the team! Would recommend this tour to friends and family alike. -Molly and Eric (The Bostonians)
This trip is a must see. Our tour guide was Gregor. He was dressed as a true Scot in his outfit. Was great to be able to experience seeing someone wear a kilt and work! Rosslyn Chapel had so much history. The guides within the chapel were very knowledgeable. I thought it was interesting to find out why they had a cat in the chapel, too! The added history of the Scottish borders was a treat and the stops to take pictures were greatly appreciated. I am not a whisky person but I truly enjoyed Glenkinchie Distillery. I even sampled some of the whisky during the taste test. It is amazing to see how these guides can take you to the most remote spots in those tour buses. Gregor was a pleasant guide to be with the entire day. He made sure that everyone felt welcome!
Gregor ws an excellent guide as we visited sites on this tour. He provided bits of Scottish history and music as we traveled to beautiful Rosslyn Chapel and to the border town of Melrose. We had a lot of time to leisurely explore the town and visit the abbey. Our visit to Glenkinchie allowed us to sample the water of life.
This is a beautiful chapel. We didn't read the exclusions which is our fault, so be prepared to pay to get into the chapel and the distillery it was pricey. The price you pay is just for the bus ride. The scenery is just gorgeous!
