Great to see Highland Games. They were amazing. Caitlin was a wonderful guide, articulate and amusing. It was refreshing to have a young female guide.
It rained the entire day which made walking in a field somewhat precarious. Guess I have watched too many movies involving Scottish Highland Games as this seemed more like a county fair. Did walk into town and enjoy a lunch at a wonderful little cafe. The bus driver was enjoyable.
Absolutely fabulous - Pitlochry was the Last Games of the Summer - so glad got to experience the day, so family friendly and such great talent. Local guy Sandy from Highland Explorer Tours even made the long ride great fun. Lucky to have had a beautiful warm sunny day!!!
We went to the Blair Atholl Highland Games and had a blast. We got to see bag pipers, dancers, caber toss, etc. Sandy was our guide and he was great. He shared some history about Scotland and was very fun to listen to on the way to and from the Games. Great job!
The full-day affair was worth it. The guide was knowledgeable and helped explain all the events and the history behind them.
